On the start/finish straight, your foot is planted, so what are you doing other than looking for the first corner, and flicking the stalk as you cross the line?

I thought the real and only reason for the wart is to inform onlookers that my car has sport chrono, and, presumably, the onlookers do not. But now I’m learning that the darn thing actually turns on, lights up, and, um, spins its needle around and around, and, and, lights up and stuff?

I thought there was a mapping function connected to it, so that you can graphically see your relative position on multiple laps. I don't remember where I got this idea, but it is stuck in my head for some reason. Obviously, I've not used it this way. In fact, I've only activated the chronometer just to be sure that it, and the back light, worked. since then, it has been dormant.

It stores all sorts of data that can be accessed in the PCM. Bring up the sport chrono screen in the PCM when you are using it.

I had the Sport mode added last week. My dealer -Parktown Imports in STL, matched Suncoasts price and gave me a PCA discount. I can feel the throttle response difference, especially from a standing start. I think the PDK owners really get a better ROI though.
