Fidelity Platinum for my '10 C4S with <10k miles w/6 speed. 7 year/100K miles with $100 deductible for $4,499 all in. Same warranty for my brother's identical car with PDK, $4350 all in. They both started at over $7,100 so we were both satisfied with the end result.
I bought my warranty through a local Chevrolet dealership and he bought his from his selling Porsche dealership.
I bought my car from a private party with 1 year of factory warranty remaining and his car has almost 2 years of factory warranty remaining.
There is a chance that in about 4 years I may sell my car and search for a fully loaded 991 C4S with PDK and nice low miles. So the Fidelity warranty will be a nice selling feature and it will still have a couple of years left on it.
These warranties give me comfort for major failures as parts are pretty expensive and also a nice selling feature. Worth the initial cost to me.

[quote=mjsporsche;10381599]I was in the same situation with my 2008 C2S having less than 10K miles. Picked up the Fidelity Platinum 7 year/ 70K additional miles with $100 deductible from my local Honda dealer for............$2300 (including sales tax). I price shopped that policy with 5 different dealers and price ranged from almost $4K to a low of $2300. I am now into year 2 of the policy so I do not know if premiums have gone up.
Ditto. Call Fidelity for a list of vendors in your region and compare. And don't hesitate to negotiate. In Sept '12, for an in-warranty '09/C2S, I purchased a Platinum/5YR/60K/$250 = $2750. 10% down, 12 interest free payments ..... from a Kia dealer.
Do not hesitate to price shop the policy. As said in earlier posts, Fidelity does not care if you buy it at a Porsche store or a Hyundai dealership. Call Fidelity Customer Service and ask them for the names of 5 or more dealerships that are agents for their policies.

Premiums are typically a function on current miles on car, age of car, remaining warranty, amount of extended coverage, etc. So all of us will likely get a different quote. In my research it appeared that Fidelity Platinum coverage was as good as any and better than some. As has been discussed, just get quotes from numerous sources and pick the best price for the coverage you want.
