Default Congrats! I'm in the market for Targa too-- but needs to be a 6-speed

Congrats on your Targa 4S. I have been tracking the market for 997.2 Targas (4 and 4S) for 2+ years and the pricing for these appear to be all over the place. Currently it seems the asking prices are quite high--especially considering 09 base 911s are starting to drop under $50K. In any event, congrats! Looks like you got a great car.

Wow! Thank you very much for the compliment, truly appreciated! Makes me feel like the time I spent grinding over how to make the car unique to me, was worth it.

Thank you again!

I bought it from Porsche of Wallingford CT. Nice guys. I know I over paid for the car but it was what I wanted. They only came off $1,000 from the asking price of $79,900. I tried everything but they wouldn't budge. They are shipping it to PA on their dime (but I figured that was only about $600). There are very few CPO Targa's out there so the lack of inventory drove them to dig in and stick to their price.

Chaos......that was very funny. I did send the guy a picture of it with a little note. That is out of character for me but I told him to forward it to the GM of the dealership

I will post pictures when it finally gets here!

Thanks for the interest guys

Don't worry. The rain won't hurt it.
