That first photo does not do justice as to just how ugly that car is. Why someone get's a cab, and then mods the motor up to 900hp also makes no sense.

Having owned a 993 cab, I'm no hater of cabs or lots of HP. And I won't even open Pandora's Box around the issue of a cab body under the stress of that much HP (oops, too late). I just think that's just a lot of HP to be tossing around the road, and in the wrong hands, or under some other unfortunate circumstance, bad things can happen, and cabs, even with roll bars, offer minimal protection from the worst case scenario. That's all I'm say'n. no offence intended

Sadly the white draws attention to the poor gaps around the filler door on the 996/997/991. To some extent on the 993, too, but it's less pronounced, perhaps because the door size, shape and position help conceal it.

There are many "traditions" in the design of the 911 that Porsche has forsaken and a strange few they have persistently retained. Why the fuel tank filler door has to break up the front fender line, when it's not even a convenient access point to the tank, I dunno.

With the 996 as a wholesale redesign and upsizing of the 911, it would have been possible to put that door into a concealed part of the cowl that covers the wipers (and put the wipers out of sight, concealed under the front trunk lid.) Surely this would be more streamlined, easy to make in left-drive and right-drive configurations and simplified the production line because the fenders wouldn't be complicated by having the fuel acces.

I've seen the car in person before at Targa Trophy La to Vegas. It's.......different. I want to say BBi built a part of it, I would imagine the motor, but I'm not 100%.
