Congrats and enjoy! Black is beautiful.
Interesting carbon fiber look on the ashtray lid and arm rest lid. Maybe it's the lighting, but it looks kind of fake. If you feel so inclined, it's easy to change those parts to real carbon fiber or revert back to OEM parts.

Congratulations and welcome in the porsche club
I totally agree to Mspeedster post, this is an kind of cheap fake carbon foil and totally looks out of place on this fine interior and such car. Get it off or replace it with some real carbon
check DBCarbon.com
Best regards from also bad weather Germany

Dealer returned it back to stock with new trim before they shipped it. The interior is mint.

Your story is very similar to mine. I couldn't justify the cost difference of the new Boxster S vs the 997 c2s 2007 cab I bought. Was over a 20 k difference. That and the fact that with my kids at the ages they are now the 997 just means we can all enjoy the Porsche experience when the opportunity presents itself.

Congrats and welcome. I woke up to about 5" inches of snow this morning but did catch the weather this morning and I saw a 50 on there, it's coming just a little slower then last year. I would consider a Rubber Floor Mat set if you haven't already. Enjoy and hopefully its warmer soon

If you put snows on your new baby, you could drive it all year. These cars can be tons of fun in the winter...as long as you don't get more than 6 inches of snow. You then become a very expensive snowplow. Congrats!!

I'd love to drive it in the winter, but to much sand (gravel) is put on the roads. Not worth it.
