Will it work with the front Aero?

Will it work with the Powerkit?

I like it but is there any problem with water going directly down the air intake snorkle(?).

Thanks

Agree. I used a Home Depot laundry dryer vent cover and attached it to the inside of the ducktail lid above the air intake snorkle to keep the water out.

Thanks for the tip.

Do you, or anyone, know what can happen if water does go directly into and down the intake snorkle?

mzm50 alerted me to this potential problem when he was assisting me with my ducktail. You can see in his posted pictures that he has protected his air intake as well.

Worst case from what I have read is that if the water goes in and pass the air box it could cause damage to the engine. This sounded logical to me so I did something about it. I have also read that there are drain holes in the air box which could dissipate the incoming water. Bottom line to me is that an air intake which is completely exposed to the elements looks vulnerable to me.

I don't have a duck but do have an aftermarket wing and am concerned about water entry. Can someone post a pic of the home depot fix shown above.
Thanks

Attached is a pic from under my ducktail lid and a pic from above. As you can see, the dryer vent duct cover from Home Depot is mounted inside the lid above the air intake opening so that the rain cannot go directly in.

Would be awesome to see your car if you are ever in Toronto. Come out to a Saturday GTG.
