Default Moved up from 997.1 to 997.2

After some deliberation and good feedback from you fine folks, I went ahead and decided to make the jump to the gen 2 car. Though I didn't have the .1 for very long, still a bit sentimental leaving it at the dealership. I will miss my first Porsche, great car.

On to the new car. Back to a manual in the .2 after having a tip in the .1 car and the difference in enjoyment of driving is pretty impressive. I can appreciate all the tech in the tiptronic trans but too often felt a bit flat when driving around town in 5th gear... Love being back in a manual, car feels more alive.

Pics or it didn't happen, I know. I know. Here you go.

Thank you to all who weighed in with their feedback. All helped me make a decision I am happy with.

I haven't considered trading up from my 997.1 Cab for a whole ton of reasons, but one of the primary reasons would be "What the heck color combo would I choose?"
If I saw your car for sale, I would think about crunching some $$$numbers. I like it that much.
Believe me, a supreme compliment!

Congrats!

Sport classic headlight rings, stone guards and rims are a nice touch. How about some interior pics?

What a gorgeous ride. Congrats buddy!

Agree completely about the manual, btw. I don't care that the auto may be 0.1 or something faster on the 0-60. 6 speed is where it's at!

Stunning. The black windscreen frame is a nice touch too. Someone thought this car out very carefully when they were putting it together. I must say the interior color is a surprise, I'm looking forward to pics with the top down to see how it all comes together. Congrats.

This car is GORGEOUS...I love the color, the rims and of course, the red interior. One of the best looking 997's I've ever seen!
