This started happening to me recently, within 30 seconds of locking, as I'm walking away from the car. Unlock/cancel (it auto re-locks if a door isn't opened) and no further problems. Until next time I lock the car.

I've just figured out that my iPhone, which is an old model w/o SIM I'm using as an iPod, and is connected to a mObridge, will get a disconnect signal from the mObridge when it shuts down after the MOST network goes dormant. The disconnect tells the iPhone to vibrate (as when you plug/unplug for syncing) and that noise was setting off the alarm. I don't know why this just started happening, no doubt I toggled on the vibrate when I was updating the music/podcasts at some point.

An odd case, but maybe this will help someone else with an iPod they leave in the car.

I have the same trouble with mine. Seems to have a mind of its own - sometimes many months without going off - sometimes three times in a week.

I think the sensors are very sensitive. Planes, heavy trucks etc. I rolled a tennis ball into my tire, barely hit it and set off the alarm.

I just live with it.
