Default 997 Launch edition Q's

I'm currently sniffing out a '05 997 launch edition, pretty much loaded.
Can I impose on the wealth of knowledge on this forum about any known issues, aside from IMS(which has been changed in '06 on this car), to pay special attention to?
I'm fired up, since it'll be my first 911. I'm sure most of you know that feeling!

Viking... I'm curious, is it money that is keeping you from looking for a newer model year?

I have a launch edition 997, built 2 before the one you are looking at. They are super loaded, never had a problem of any kind with mine. Most were black, I have seen several paint to sample cars, mine is Riviera Blue. If you have any questions, feel free to call or send me a message on here. Jason - 212-991-8578

Have them check the wiring harness, horn, alternator and the already mentioned ims possible flaws. I have had mine since new and no problems. The items mentioned are known defects for the 997.
