thanks!
no idea but their showroom and garage/work area are nice. Still wish I’d bought the 993 I was looking at from them 15 years ago. Penny wise pound foolish that decision was.

I live near their shop in Ashburn, nice shop but every car is over priced by 20-30k. 3k ice blasting? right, Porsche main dealer prices from an independent. If you have it, spend it but you wont get it back when you sell.

Thanks for the response....i was looking at an '08 911 they have for 34 grand...looks very nice but.....and as much as i want one, ive seen prices in the DC area, they all seem high...hard to justify blowing 30-40 grand on a car thats 20 plus yrs....and its not like a basic 911 is gonna shoot up in value IMO...if i only i had 100 plus grand in disposable income, id buy a much newer one....i shoulda just bought one 2 yrs ago when i started causally looking... prices were much better few yrs ago...now same model, similar mileage, same year, are going for 10 plus grand more...thanks again for the response... will just keep looking until I find the one with a deal i cant say no to!

$34k on a 2008 seems kind reasonable without knowing any other details. Transmission, miles etc.

also not 20+ years old. 15. Unless I misread something.

I do recall inter sport prices feeling high but I was never really sure whether the product stood out and justified the price or how much they negotiated.

I was sorta vague on that...i meant other ones for sale, early 2000's models going for upper 20 to mid 30....the 08 one is a manual, 112,000 miles or so, something like that...cant remember the exact mileage but it was around there ...for all the ones ive looked at recently, the 08 one does seem to be best deal in the area....saw some decent ones at Auto by Design, but damn if that place doesn't have the worst reviews ever, so definitely wouldn't go there....and every negative review, owner does nothing but bash the reviewer and blame them...

I looked the one you referenced up on Intersports site. 2008 Cab C2, 6 speed manual, 116k miles for 35k + taxes, fees etc..etc.. I dont know if they fully service the cars prior to sale but maybe. Price is Ok but to me its a 28-30k car as it sits. I bought a 2000 m5 from them ten years ago. Consignment for a customer they had sold a 993 to and it was rough cosmetically but tip top mechanically. PO was responsible for that upkeep so likely not Intersport. They dug it out of the bottom of a nearby parking garage when I went to see the car. They did nothing to it but again, customer consignment.
997.1 C2 is a great car. less prone to Bore scoring but a 2008 has a non serviceable IMSB. Probably not an issue at 116k miles but worth mentioning.

Thanks for the insight... mileage does bother me a tad... especially for the fact, i would drive it non stop, weather permitting...im one of those types that if i buy a car, im gonna enjoy it every day, not the causal weekend if weather is nice... probably hold off and keep shopping around...thanks once again.... hopefully u don't mind if i hit u up in the future with any questions or anything.

Well after my last post in this thread from 2013 I received an alert that there was a new post in a thread I subscribed to - thanks for the memories guys! Lol

To tie a bow on my story, I bought my manual 2010 Carrera S from Intersport in 2012 and sold it back to them in 2020 for $6k less. I still use them for service on my 2018 S and am a happy customer. Good luck with your search regardless. 👍

Oh and by the way, if kdurg is by chance still around (early post on page 1), the 993 C4S you bought was mine!
