Does anybody have experiences with this dealer. I have made some initial inquiries about a car and I am quite interested to proceed further. Dealing with them from out of state and will arrange for a PPI etc, but would be interested to hear customer/buyer experiences.

I just live minutes away from them and had my 993 serviced there. Omar is a great guy and the dealership is specialized on P-cars. They know what they are doing but they are not the cheapest (as I said they know P-cars).

There is HBL Porsche just around the corner in case you want an independent PPI done, otherwise Intersport can perform that on their own.

I am also just around the corner from them but I don't have a lot of good things to say. I can't comment on their service but buying a car from them isn't something I'd suggest. In my case, I got the usual run around, a general lack of interest in selling me anything and lies right to my face from the guys that run it.

I walked away and bought a car elsewhere. Good luck on your purchase.

they know their stuff - charlie murphy has a rep as a "porsche whisperer" apparently. unfortunately the business end is not so user friendly from what i've heard. they do sell used cars and i've heard that the front office has a bit too much of a salesman mentality.

i suggest you join the dorki board - quite a few on that forum use/have used intersport.

bought my 993C4S from them and dealt with Omar. communication was great and the car was sold as advertised with no issues.

I bought my street car from them and they service it and built my race car. I have never had an issue other than the usual "it costs How Much????", but that is true of every shop or dealer I have ever used in the past twenty years.

I've been there a few times, they are good people and are fairly priced. my friend bought a C2S from them a couple years back and had a great experience. sold it back to them too.

They have a good inventory of very well selected cars. They have one of the finesest mechanics in the area who prevents them from buying poorly. Omar is a first rate guy who knows 911's better than any salesman selling "previously owned" product that I've ever met. They have been around a long time, and like any other company that has served many customers, there are a few that had an unhappy experience. I went there to see a 993tt and ended up with Omar buying my Bentley GTC. It is always a fun place to visit.

I've bought a number of cars at Intersport and have been a service customer for about 13 years. I've never had a bad experience. They support our local PCA chapter as well - Omar and Charlie are good guys.

Chuck - Intersport has loaners but if they aren't available I know that Penske (Porsche / Audi / and MB) all have Enterprise desks at their service departments. Omar can prob arrange that for you.
