I just ran into this problem yesterday, seems to be a pretty common problem when people are replacing their interior bulbs with LEDs! Looks like something "shorts" out a component of the glove box light - but the repair appears to be too much work for just getting your glove box light back, as it involves some kind of new harness, as well as removal of the glove box...

Wow what a coincidence my glove box light is also not working. I have not changed any bulbs to leds. I'm on all oem type bulbs. Footwell lights work. Tried 5 different working bulbs in the glovebox bulb but none of them work.
Does the glovebox light come on only when headlights are on?
Anyway I tried different bulbs with headlights on and off. On page 1 someone had mentioned a microswitch, how to get access to that? Could it be causing his issue?

If the LEDs don't have the correct resistance they will not work. You cannot get generic LED bulbs and use them as replacements for standard bulbs. You need to purchase specific LED bulbs with the correct resistance factor.
