Wouldn't be my first choice but I dig the way it looks with black wheels red calipers and red leather. I haven't seen a 911 I didn't like. 911's are just like women....they are all beautiful. Some more than others.

When I mwet he the first time I was driving a lapis blue 996 cab(my all time favorite color) and she would no go out again because of the "Chach" car.
It looks like I would've been booted off her list for sure!

Maybe the other features on your loaner car didn't help make it "pop".
I typically hate white on most cars since they remind me of commercial vehicles, but on Porsches they look terrific. Maybe as you say it's because Porsche owners typically take care of their cars and they are clean and polished.

My sentiments are the exact opposite. I've had many white cars, including my '11 C2 GTS.

BUT when I got my Panamera I just didn't think it looked good in white and bought it in Yachting Blue instead. To me, there's something about the shape of the Panny (oh, don't start!!) that needs a darker color to work.

YMMV.

I have a colleague at work who was raving about Yachting Blue on the Pana over the phone. Got me thinking. Could you post some pics. TIA.

White over blue any day of the week. Unless it's Mexico or Riviera!

Sorry, I love white!

The car is filthy, just back from a ski trip. I have autocross all weekend in my 911, so no telling when it'll be clean (and photoworthy) again. But I'll see what I can do.

It's funny, I've had 5 Porsches, two of which were white, the others were either red or black, and the only "color" comments I got were about the white ones. People either love it or hate it. Some guys think it's a good color for a "girl's car". I don't get that. This time, I went a step further and added white wheels. I think it looks awesome! (B%$#@ to keep clean though!)

Might just be a Panamera thing. I know not a lotta love for them here, but wife's Panamera gets far more compliments out and about then either my GT3 or C4S. People still take pics of it....

It's a funny thing about White. I am not usually a fan... at all. White reminds me of work trucks, Chevy Tahoes and the stupid shoes I had to wear to Catholic school.
When Rob first located our carrera white 997S, I was not 100% impressed looking at it in pictures (I might even have said No way at first) but after looking at the interior I thought, hmmmm..... I might like it. Then it got here:

Wow.... I LOVE IT! WE Love !

Yes, it is a funny thing about white.
