Drove the new 991 C4S today
Spent some time in the new 991 C4S today...quite a ride. I had driven 991s before, but the C4 launch cars arrived two days ago.
Have to say, I loved the car! This one spec'd differently than most launch cars, basically the build I would get if I ordered one:
Sport chrono, Sport exhaust, SportDesign steering wheel (paddle shifters), PDK, Dynamic Chassis Control, Adaptive Seats Plus, heated/vented seats, Dynamic Light System... has 20 inch wheels, but I would probably put my 19" black painted sport design wheels on.
Excellent ride. Not as much feedback as my 997.2 C4S, but something indescribable about the suspension/steering/overall handling...always felt my current car takes corners with no perceived body roll...this was just different. Felt incredibly anchored, like on rails, very balanced. Maybe the slightly altered width and wheelbase make that much difference, although the car did not feel bigger to me overall. It did feel a bit quicker than my car...400 hp.
cockpit felt good, steering wheel felt a bit thicker but don't know if that's true or not.
Certainly gave me lots to think about...including $$$!
