I am new to the game but vertexauto.com seems like they may be good.

I found this p/n for cowl 997 572 563 08 and vertex was only site that I got a hit for.

Just a couple of weeks ago ordered one of these for my 02 Boxster from my local Porsche dealer parts department. The original part had cracked.

And more recently ordered the plastic panel that covers teh front space between the front bumper cover and the trunk, covers the front trunk latch/lock. This panel has started to come apart.

This part I pick up this today, this morning in fact.

I tossed the cowl cover in the front seat of the car and the last time I had the car in for an oil/filter service the tech put it on for me.

The latch cover I think I'll replace myself.

I purchased one thru Sonnen for less than 200. installed it in about 20 minutes. The only thing I would point out is the rubber flap that covers the cabin filter comes out with the cowl and be careful when removing/installing the screw for the gps antenna as the lug can snap off easily. Lastly, the small covers for the exterior mounting screws don't come with the cowl so order new ones. Otherwise they will appear to be a different color from your originals.

Z00 - Suncoast ended up being the cheapest - $102, dealer was $135 and Pelican $120 or so. I found out the hard way about what you said about the gps antenna, I managed to snap off the plastic clip when I removed the cowl the other day just to see how it came off. It looks like I will have to buy the whole sensor assembly because the plastic clip by itself is not available.

I could use a tutorial too. The wiper blades seem a bit hard to remove and i'm curious where the GPS antenna sits...

I just did mine a few weeks back. The note above pretty much sums it up.
As for removing the wiper arms, just be sure they are in the up position and they'll come right off.

It was a fairly easy job, just some wrangling to get the old one out and the new in.

Also, I purchased mine through Pelican as it was much cheaper (with shipping) than Suncoast.

Removal of the wiper cowl is real easy, once you have removed the wipers, as stated make sure they are up, spray a little WD40 on them now and when the time comes for you to change the cowl they should pull straight off-upwards.

As for removing the cowl the screws are real easy to see, also remember to remove the screw close to the wiper arm, IIRC they are all torx.

I would recommend to tape up the edge of your bonnet as you can only really remove the cowl with the bonnet open and I slightly scratched the edge of mine, you have to "play" with the cowl to get it out.

The heated water jets can be unplugged relatively easily.

As for the antenna, IIRC, once you have lifted the cowl slightly you should be able to get your hand in there and unclip the antenna.

As the black plastic had faded on mine I had it hyrdo-dipped with a carbon look, something a bit different from the plastic OEM look. It isn't difficult, just take your time and be careful with the removal-refit around your paintwork.
