Any of you Carrera S guys run the Nitto NT01 in 245/40/18 fronts and 315/30/18 rears?
Since these tires are not with in the overall tire ratio for the 997 cars I'm curious how they actually work ont eh Carrera. Some 997 GT3 guys are running these without any issues with PSM (ABS and traction control) as long as they keep those systems turned off. Of a 997 GT3 you can totally defeat the PSM system. However on a Carrera based car we can not totally turn off the PSM. Even though a Carrera driver can push the PSM button and turn it off (so called off) on the Carrera cars PSM is not totally turned off.
Seeing that the front and rear tire overall ratio is not with in spec for a Carrera 997 I'm hoping that someone on here can report how PSM and ABS act on the track with these sizes.
THANKS!

Using 275 and 315 18s.
The 275s are a bit wide and rubs on the spring perch a bit when cornering hard.
Fantastic tires!
Might try something else when they wear out though.

Yes, that's my setup (2006 997 3.6). My car doesn't do anything untoward with these sizes. I have no problem cornering and braking firmly and deliberately without triggering the PSM light. ABS is not a problem either. The NT01s are a dream. They are way, way better than the R888's in proper sizes.
