Sold my 911 :(
Well I am no longer the proud owner of '07 C2s. We are moving to seattle and see no reason to keep it and not drive it, hoping to walk to work or ride a bus versus the hour plus commute I currently endure. Gave the keys to a friend who has wanted a 911 since childhood. She was a great car, put 26K miles in 3 years and 4 days. My accord has loss more value over the same period with 50K miles. We are going to keep wife's Cayenne S, gotta keep a Porsche. Need to save a few bucks if we are going to buy in the more expensive market. Now I need to find a new home for my accord.
Hunt will be on for an air-cooled 911!

Don't worry too much.... I sold my 2009 C4S in summer of 2011 in order to buy our house. I didn't wait long replacing it with a CPO 2007 C2S in spring of 2012. You'll be back in a 911 before you know it!
Congrats on the move - Seattle area is a great place to live and raise a family.

Yes....you folks in North Carolina love the Tax Dollars. Although Washington is mostly a liberal Vote because of Seattle Gas Passer will certainly enjoy the pay increase because he will no longer participate in State Income Tax. Good for you Gas Passer!!! Cost of living may be higher.
Get out your ski's and hiking boots Gas Passer. Washington State is a fantastic State to live in. Plus, you can alway replace your car with a new Porsche later once you get settled.

I am interested in your opinion concerning the differences from the 09 C4S and the 07 C2S.
Thanks

If you're shopping 997s, if you can get a .2 for slightly more than a .1, it's probably worth it. Keep in mind, the .2s are direct-injected, and this has caused issues with other cars (RS4s, etc.) with carbon build-up. When I was hunting for my latest 911, I wanted a specific color (Atlas Gray) and I wanted a minimum of options (manual trans, manual sport seats, etc.). The current 911 is the one I plan to have when I'm retired and enjoying Carmel...
Happy hunting!
