Greetings guys! Been lurking/posting as a guest, finally signed up. Next step, get my P-car.
I know there is a broad network on this board, so hoping someone in the WA area has dealt with Porsche of Tacoma. More specifically, I am also trying to determine what a starting point for negotiations would be.
Car is pretty well optioned (minus PSE, but gundo hack). Can anyone comment on this car regarding the pricing? I have seen some low model 09's for about 5k more, but lack some of the options on this vehicle. Plus CPO through 1/16 or 100k...
I realize it was some time ago, but I bought my '09 C2S in Nov 2010 with 9600 miles for $69k, from a dealer in California! $68.8k for this car seems high.

What were they asking? I presume you negotiated down from the low/mid 70s?

The price is a little high considering the mileage but it's nicely optioned. Also, when was it punched? There's a recent thread in this forum that asks what people paid and would give you some good info. GL, Dave
Car looks great. This car with PASM, Sport Chrono, 14 way electric seats etc sold for 110ish, so sixties is not a bad price. You can find other S for lower price but it wont be with the PASM and Sport Chrono.
Perfect combination if you ask me, go for it.
stltim1979...if you are looking for another point of reference, I bought a 2009 C2S in September from a a very large dealership in Atlanta. When I purchased it, it had right under 19K miles on the odometer. It has all of the options that your car shows with the exception of the sport chrono package. The dealer was asking $74K and I got them down to right at $70.5K. I agree with some of the other posts, it looks like a nice car and a couple thousand when you are talking about a $70K purchase isn't too bad. Also, for point of reference my car new stickered right at $98.5K. Another point of reference and something I find interesting is that there appears to be a shortage of CPO 2009 models in the dealerships right now unless you want a cab, which I did not. I routinely check out several Porsche dealerships within the Southeast US, and there are few if any 2009 C2S in their inventory right now. Good luck with the decision, once you pull the trigger it will be something that you truly enjoy!!!

Thanks man. This leads me to my next question. I found an 09S online from a private seller. Only 4500 miles, rims I want, sport seats w/ deviated red stitching, PSE, but thats about it. He won a GTS so looking to get rid to free up room. Only asking 72k, so I bet I could get it down a few k. The major issue is the lack of Sport Chrono.
I have been looking at other threads on aftermarket 'install' of SC, but only on PDKs. Can you do the same for this manual?
stltim1979...private owners may offer a lower price, however, I bought via a Porsche certified dealership so I could be sure to get a CPO car. Given that this is my first Porsche, and knowing the cost for replacement parts, I have some peace of mind knowing that with the exception of clutch, brakes, tires everything is covered. Also, the fact that my car was CPO in September ensured that it should be good to go for many miles and years to come.
My next recommendation, buy locally vs trying to find one far away for 2-4k less. Taking it for a drive, looking at it yourself, taking it to the shop for a good PPI is much more valuable than saving 2-4k.
In this case, the Sport Chrono and the local buy is worth $5k.
25000 miles on a Porsche is nothing, and it is better than 5k miles, all cars need to be driven for engine, coolant lubrication, belts needs to be stretched etc.
Note; for -09 engines Porsche eliminated 40% of engine parts (997.2 direct inj) over the 05-08, one of these parts were the famous IMS. RIP

I should have clarified. Each of these cars mentioned are halfway across the country. I live in St Louis. Unfortunately for me, the market here is very limited. I am trying to do as much due diligence and research before engaging heavily with the sellers, as this is the first time in my life I am fortunate to treat myself to this dream.
Very fun process, but very stressful at times as well!
