Driver's side window comes up streaked
I've been noticing lately that whenever I roll up my driver's side window, the inside of the glass comes up with vertical smears. Every time. It comes off relatively easily with some water and a cloth, but it's a real PIA. It seems like it's gotten a bit worse recently. It's gotten to the point where I don't want to roll my window down anymore.
Does anyone know what this is and/or how to keep it from happening? Do you think I'll have to get the door taken apart to get at the source of the problem?
The passenger side window seems fine.

Check via the search function here and at that 'other' place as well.
There was a post some time ago (6+ months I think) with exactly the same issue.
It may have had something to with the inner seal for the window being improperly positioned.
Sorry I do not remember the fix.
Hope you get it resolved.

I had the issue on my 09 and have it on my GTS as well. I believe there is a felt pad that contacts the window surface. The stuff comes off fairly easy but I sometimes worry about it scratching the tint film.

I get the streaks on both the driver and passenger windows on my 2010 C2S after I wash it or after it rains. BTW, the streaks are on the INSIDE of the windows. It drives me nuts!
I am going to attempt a "search" to see if I can find the fix that RennlistTomE mentioned in post #5. If I find the fix, I'll report back here.

So glad someone posted this because my car does it on both sides and it is driving me nuts. I was even going to mention it to the dealer when I take it for service. I will be checking here for a solution.

Same here. It gets worse when you treat the rubber trim pieces.
That said, you can win the battle by more window cleaning. Of course your cleaing the windows inside and out.
The gunk inside is a finite gremlin. Steady on.
