2008 Porsche 997TT Daytime Running Lights
On this '08 997TT it was time to add a little more style and some safety and still keep an O.E. look at the same time. A set of Daytime Running Lights will fit that perfectly by running duel LED lights with both the white running lights and the amber signal lights.
Parts Installed
Agency-Power Daytime Running Lights
To start things off it was time to remove the front bumper and get to the factory lights, however when we raised the car this is what we found.
A previous K40 radar installation and wiring by another company...yes that is a screw that had rubbed in half and is missing the other mounting screw.
Front bumper off and ready to start on the lights.
Stock
Removed
New DRL/Signal installed
Once the lights are in the new harnesses are wired in and control boxes were mounted
Now as the bumper was going back together it was time to fix the radar issues that were found while removing the bumper earlier. To start out the radar box had to be moved to a safer location.
And also the old wiring was removed and completely reworked so all connections are safe and secure.
The bumper was put back on the car and it was ready to roll with it's new DRL's and properly working radar!
Just a quick comparison shot of the dual LED's at work

The installation was done by a dealership. So future customers beware, if your buying a car and thinking of having the dealership install a radar detector, and they offer you a nice low price for everything installed. This is the cheap quick way they get it installed for a low price.
Come to us, you might spend a little more but the quality and care of the installation is far better and the possibilities of the installation locations are endless
