PSE S tips on standard 997?

Default PSE S tips on standard 997?

I just Bought PSE "S" exhaust tips without realizing they were PSE will it be possible to fit the PSE tips to my standard non "s" pipes without PSE?

Standard and S exhausts are different pipe diameters, so tips from one won't fit the other.

If your Porsche is a 2005 997.1 base Carrera no, but there is a solution. Assuming that cosmetics are the only difference between a 3.8L standard "S" tip and the tip that comes with PSE they will mount up using the FVD adapter shown as the fourth item down in this link:

Thank you that sounds very helpful, but when I click on the link it says required data is missing. I had heard about the adapter and that is why I made the purchase.

PSE tios will NOT work on any exhaust except a PSE muffler.

The sport exhaust has two exhaust exit pipes per side, not one like a non PSE muffler. On the standard muffler the clamp is centered between the dual tips. On PSE tip the clamp is offset from center and sits behind the large diameter tip, while a second exhaust pipe feeds into the smaller diameter side of the tip.

It won't fit... sorry. There might be someone out there with damaged PSE tips who might want them.
