Its been posted 245 tires for the front does not provide any feel difference. But on my 8.5 inch width wheels i think they dont look good. The sidewalls looked perfect on 8 inchers but looked stretched a bit on 8.5s. Does this not affect the tires performance? Same applies for the back, perfect look for 295s on 11s but a bit stretched on 11.5s

Sorry, i was meaning that the 235's do not look good on 8.5's and considering upping to 245's. many suggested to stick with 235 but to my eye the do not look fitting on 8.5 tires.

Hey Slicky, not much of a change 235-245 you may notice the difference, but I probably would'nt.
If yer can get a deal on one or the other tires, then go for it. Maybe yer lookin for spacers to push em out a bit, that'll work !
Or last resort, ask Santa.....????
Life's short, spend yer cash man !
Shiny side up pal !

Hey brother, thanks for your opinion, was actually referring to the look of the sidewalls more than the gap between wheels/tires and fenders. 235 s on 8.5 rims look a bit stretched. The sidewalls of the tire seems to slant inwards kinda looking like the width of the rims is more than width of tire if you get what i mean.

But these side walls are so small, especially on the fronts ? I'm sure the 245's would fit , but if they were more expensive, then I'd probably leave it alone......its your call slicky !
