Okay, finally got it on. Was quite nervous taking it off as I didn't want to damage it especially the tabs.
Getting the new spoiler snapped into place was a snap but the expanding nut on eat end was the hard part. Fingers are not strong enough - one end squeezed into with the help of a piece of flat metal and the other end required a quick gentle rap with the side of a hammer.
