How many keys come with the car?

Does the Sports Chrono clock light up at night like the rest of the dash? Or is it dark?

The car comes with 2 keys, no lights on the sports chrono clock.

darthhowie, my sports chrono wart lights up, but i think that's because it's not reset to zero. i keep it at 9.11 seconds. took me forever to hit that exactly!

997 should come with 2 full size keys and a plastic valet key.
The wort only lights up when it's in use. When it's at zero, it's dark.

Correct, the sport Chrono watch will light at night if not zero'ed.
Keys, those can be ordered at your local Orsche dealer for $500 or so.

Bought a like new pre-owned C4S on Black Friday and on the drive home I noticed the Sports Chrono was dark. Good to know I will not have to worry about it. Does the entire timer dial light up or only the digital number? Have the 2 regular keys, a lot of booklets and paperwork. Don't remember seeing a plastic key? Will look through the packet for the plastic valet key. What does it look like? Is it flat like a credit card? Never going to use it but would like to know if I got everything.

What else is in the packet with the warranty and owners manual?

I believe the whole guage lights up when in use.
owners manual, pcm manual, service booklet, maybe a few other things.

Looked for the plastic valet key and did not find it. The dealer said my '09 did not have one only '08 and older do?
