Carrera Cabriolet Car Cover?

Carrera Cabriolet Car Cover?
I bought an indoor Form Fit car cover from Covercraft in red, and the fuzz is sticking all over my black convertible top even though I've now washed it 3 times.
I like a stretch type indoor car cover, but the fuzz from this one is really bad. Is there another car cover that will work better for when my cabriolet is stored in the garage?

I feel your pain! I purchased an indoor cover from Suncoast (No Affiliation). Very nice fit and very little lint. I've never washed the cover at all and the lint is very minimal. Here is the link to the one I bought. As for the red lint (fuzz) on the top, I use a typical lint brush and keep it in the trunk. Works like a charm! Give it a try and you'll agree.

I'd post a picture if I knew how, but my top is covered with red fuzz. I have a lint brush but it's going to take quite an effort to clean the top.
Thanks for the link. Is the inside of your cover the same as the outer color and material?
I have purchased covers from Covercraft in the past for other cars and I don't know why they sent me this thing.

I've been tempted to turn the cover inside out, as the normal outside of the cover has a sheen finish, and the inside is more "wooly", but doesn't leave excessive lint, if you put it on and take it off without dragging it across the top.
How much lint the cover leaves is directly proportional to how much you drag the cover across the top. When positioning the cover, instead of dragging it across the top, I pick the cover up and reposition it.

Go to your Porsche dealer and ask them for the white breathable shipping covering for the soft top that comes on the car when it is delivered to the dealer. Should be simple to lay that over your top before you put your cover on.

I'll also ask them what the inside material is for their outdoor cover(s).
I have a hard top convertible BMW which is easier to maintain than the material top on the Porsche, but it also weighs a lot more and probably costs more to keep operating.
Thanks for your help.

As an alternative, buy a black one. Or do what I did. Buy one of those weather proof ones that feels more plastic than cloth--it never sheds, and works fine. I wash it in the washer and even dry it in the dryer. Holding up well. From Griot Garage.
