Default Looking to upgrade OEM sport steering wheel in my 997.1

Looking to upgrade my OEM sport wheel with either the OEM GT3 from Suncost or the custome flat bottom DCT (pic attached).

Any thoughts on which is a better option?

Thanks

I've heard Alcantara doesn't wear well, although I don't have any in my car. I'm sure others can chime in.
I do like the one you have pictured. It's different.

this is my favorite, but you need a different airbag as well

I really love that wheel...I wish there was a way I could do that on my '09 C2S.

I got a DCT flat bottom wheel on my 997S.

Stayed away from Alcantara for the same reasons. Used perforrated leather on the sides (extra thick) and smooth leather on top and bottom.

Do a search on 'DCT wheels' and you'll see mine and others done by them.

I personally wouldn't use any non-OEM steering wheel, it's an integral part of the safety and experience and I really do not want to risk that, nothing against DCT, might be a great company, but I personally wouldn't.

DCT uses OEM wheels as the core as do all other folks that perform that type of work. No modifications are done to the attachment mechanism or air bag. I haven't heard of an issue regarding safety or any other anomaly.
