What's your Mileage?? 997.1 & 997.2
Okay guys just had my 15 mo anniversary of my new to me still 2009 997.2 C4S Carrera. I have 46k on the odometer and wondered what mileage others have on their 997 Carrera's? And what things they've encountered.
Car runs fine and have had no problems. Oil changed every 8k by me (its therapeutic) and only issue has been a rock chip recently (thanks Seattle roads) which was repaired with epoxy by my insurance company's glass repair folks.
I know there are different "trains of thought" out there among some who baby and never drive their cars (Ferrari-like almost) and have very low mileage cars and those who drive them like they stole them! So while I don't expect anything wrong I wondered what others mileage out there is and if they've seen anything pop up at certain mileage(s) points!

Bought a 2009 911 S in August with 19,700 on the odometer, and just hit 20,700 this weekend. Drive her to work one to two days per week and on the weekends whenever I can. I am just now learning to drive her like she was intended to be driven so I am enjoying every minute behind the wheel.

2009 997.2 C2 with PDK, original owner. 46K miles since Jan 09. No issues other than the muffler clamp and fuel pump campaigns, a slight leak in the sunroof which was fixed under warranty and regular maintenance.

I have only had to replace a brake light thus far......
still waiting for new wheels......and a personal plate.....and an AM horn from Griots.....

I agree with Stefangs outlook.....I wanted a car I could drive a lot and not worry about while it sits......

2008 C2S with 23K that I just purchased. I will be driving it much more than the previous two owners. In a month I have put a lot on it.
Had to replace the low tone horn and did the dreaded TPMS sensor replacement. 3/4 were bad. Other than that it got a great bill of health from the indie shop.

2010 C2S bought back in July 2012 with 5500 miles. I just turned over 7k this weekend. It's getting cold up here in the North. If I can't keep her clean, I wont drive her. It's getting too darn cold to wash a car these days. Plus, winter storage is just around the corner.
