Same here. Bought my 2009 C2S almost one year ago with 19,000 miles. Worried at first about putting too many miles on it and finally had to ask myself why I'm saving it for the next guy. Now drive it whenever I can but still only have 24,000 miles.

I'm at just over 128.1k today and looks like I'm due for a new thermostat. (Photo attached)

Getting the LN Engineering low temp one this time. I put an OEM one in last summer when I replaced the AOS & Water pump - but apparently it's failed.

Also had to replace my expansion tank (2nd one in 4 years) - this one split in an unusual spot on the side of the tank. The first one split in "the normal" spot about 74,000 miles ago.

Party on.

What's the repair schedule? Ready for a day trip over the Sierras into Nevada and back into the Bay Area next week? Or up the Coast? Too long since we had the pleasure of your company 8)

Yeah, oil temp was bumping 250° as well - common theme?

How long has your 911 been showing temperatures this high. I freak out if mine goes over 175 or oil of 220. Of course it doesn't get over 95 here and I don't sit in a lot of traffic.

It's been a couple weeks, I'd say it started around the Sunday the fires started up this way. My oil temps have always been generally 220 and above but the water temps always stayed at 175° - even when hammering around Thunderhill on a very hot day (107°f) - so yeah, I was freaked too.

You know how it is. You know the car, so when any little thing is off, it gets under your skin. With the oil temps I ran the gammut trying different oils. Finally I landed on LiquiMoly GT1 10/60 and it's been great for how I drive.

But - putting that LN Engineering low temp thermostat in really did the trick. My oil temps now sound like EVERYONE ELSE on this forum and that's literally a first for me. Water temp is right back to 175° and planted - just like it's always been - so I'm back to happy. As for the increased warm up times I've heard of with this thermostat, I can't really say, as it was 100° outside when I picked it up today, and they had been instructed to make the headers glow-before telling me it's all better.

I didn't want another "You should be all set!" and then I get all the way back up the mountain to my house and we're at 250 on both guages again!

I feel like I've got my life back. The anxiety I have when something is wrong with Froggy, however small is, like how I feel when the dog is limping or sick. It bums me out!

Ha! Went out for a victory lap once it cooled down tonight (mid 60's) and picked up a nice bolt in the middle of my rear left! Haha guess I have to buy one more set of the Pilot Super Sports because my fronts still have too much life in em to switch to the new MPS4's... God bless ol' Froggy.

Keeping my wallet skinny this month!

Those are slicks man! . They must be good'n loud. I gather it never rains. That is fixable if you want. Patch and plug.

Dan ... those may be slicks, but no extra wear on the inside implies you love the twisties ... I know that's true 8)

Tom ... Good to see you're using and enjoying the ride!!!
