Default Porsche and Baroque music....

Am I the only one driving to work every morning in a 911 with Bach (or Handel, Vivaldi, etc.) blasting on the stereo?
I realize that seems a bit incongruous to many, but not to me! Driving aggressively with pdk in manual mode goes hand in hand with Brandenburg Concertos! Lol

No, you are NOT alone ! All of what i listen to is classical music, with particular affinity for Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Corelious, Handel, Hayden, and Beetoven.

But most of the time I just like to listen to the sound of the exhaust system (unless I am doing freeway driving)....

I'll go through major sports withdrawal when football season is over if there's no hockey! Pro basketball is terrible and virtually unwatchable.
I will probably watch a little college hockey and basketball though out of boredom.

The sweetest music is the sound of the engine.

No, you're not alone.
When I do listen to the stereo (which isn't often) I listen to classical.

I picked up my first Porsche at the factory in fall 1984. I was accompanied by my brother. As we drove down the ramp from the second floor delivery area and onto the streets of Zuffenhausen, my brother dropped "Ride of the Valkyries" in to the cassette player and everything was right in the world. I felt like Robert Duvall on final approach with the air calvalry in Apocalypse Now. Heh, it was that or the Blues Brothers, so how could we go wrong?

Great choice! Bach... Was just discussing Joshua Bell's performance of the Chaconne in the DC metro station with a friend.
I switch between baroque and old jazz, but I turn everything off when I want to concentrate on driving.

Modern day classical music = Whitechapel or maybe some Periphery.
