Just as the topic says, i have looked in the manual and it says to turn it off with the key but i don't have that option, i have looked everywhere for a key slot.
I done some research and some cars have a weight sensor and some have to have the key slot option fitted or you simply can't have kids in the car.

Does mine have a weight sensor or do i have to sell it?

Mine is a 04 997S.

Wondered if anyone could help me out, i don't want a catastrophe.

The dealer can instal the switch for you. it will be on the side of the dash just inside the passenger door. they will also install LATCH connectors to the front passenger seat as part of the same package. My '09 does have the sensors in the seat from the factory, not sure if this was true for all MYs.

Thanks for the replies guys. Its a pity that anything you want to do with these cars is always an added extra.
