I wish I were. After 5 visits and 3 months cumulative in the shop, with a long list of parts replaced, I think enough was enough, and PCNA agreed (thankfully). I think if it was possible to find the source, the dealer tech would have found it. He's good.

Wow! In such a case, would Porsche disclose the root cause after investigational dis-assembly to the original owner?

More than likely not. Transparency is not in the vocabulary for Porsche when it comes to engine failure/replacement
