This one comes with a 444hp 5.0 V8 at 8,000rpm. No backseats. They built 700 and comes in black or yellow.

You're thinking of the Shelby GT500 with 662hp.

Thanks gents.

Differences between the two...many. Obviously completely different geometry going with the two so that brings in a whole host variables for a different drive.

One interesting similarity, they both have extreme potential beyond my capability. As you push the Boss faster into the corners it starts to really 'come alive' and everything is just in sync. So balanced, really a pleasure.

The engine note on the Boss is spectacular! So responsive and SCREAMS like a race-car at the higher rpm. When letting off the gas you are greeted with a whole symphony of gurgles, pops, and deep hums that is completely awesome.

So far it has posted faster lap times on Laguna Seca than the Audi R8, Ferrari California, Aston Martin DBS.

It's definitely the raw race-car of the two. I really like both, best of both worlds.

Awesome cars! My two favorites for sure!

First post here, and as a Boss owner and future 911 owner I have to confess that these two cars a very close in performance and fun to drive!

Bosses are fantastic! I drove my friend's '12 (now he's shopping a 13 LS like yours) a few weeks ago. The sound is all business. Handling was superb. Congrats.

Is it my imagination or do the new (seems like in ALL the various forms..) Mustangs have the best sounding V8 exhausts on the street right now? Here in my town, I have to put the damn window down every time I see one to get an earful!
