Congratulations to Pete Stout. It's a brilliant move on PCA's part to hire a guy with Pete's experience and vision to handle Panorama.
I trust Panorama will be immediately improved, but at the same time I hope that Excellence will not be negatively affected by Pete's exit.
Should be interesting to watch.

Congratulations to Pete.
Excellence's loss is Pano's gain.
Pete, you should be proud that you left Excellence in much better shape (editorially and financially) than when you started.
I am looking forward to seeing how Pete upgrades the look and feel of Pano.

Yes. He posts now and then.
I was going to ask: Does this mean he is leaving Excellence? I understand editing two magazines is a chore, but come on, Excellence has been the benchmark Porsche magazine.... Either way, I get them both, so I'll get to enjoy Pete's work! Congrats Pete.

Back from Petit Le Mans and back to a real computer.
Thanks, you guys. Your encouragement and vote of confidence means a great deal to me in a time of change.
To answer the questions ventured here (and elsewhere): In taking the job with Panorama, I had to move on from Excellence. It's not easy to leave something you've put a lot of love into for 15 years, but it was time for a new challenge—and I saw a great opportunity with PCA. In today's media landscape, the club's commitment to multiple platforms and rock-solid financial foundation were highly appealing.
I'm excited about what's ahead, but also recognize there's going to be a lot of work to get to where we're looking to go. So while I'm still charting a course, I'm leaning toward evolution rather than revolution. I've been thankful to have such a thoughtful, intelligent, and passionate readership all these years, and will do my best to do right by it going forward.
Best,
pete
