It is mine, oh yes, it is mine ('10 Targa 4S)
Longtime lurker, first-time poster. I would have felt weird posting on here if I didn't actually, you know, HAVE a P-car.
After 6 months of trolling the waters for a Targa 4S (and a since-childhood intention to eventually have a carrera), and a couple of deals that got away, I finally got it done this week. Atlas Grey Metallic over black full-leather, with a shocking (to me) array of gizmos and carbon bits. And a Recaro kiddie seat shoehorned in back, to prove how practical a family car it is.
Pics to follow.
For now, first question, to tint, or not to tint? I lean toward yes (everything but the roof, naturally), but how dark, how reflective, etc. are the big questions. If anyone has pics and specs to share, I'd appreciate it.

Congrats on the new targa. Some like the look of tinting some don't. Personal preference all the way. In Texas or a hot southern state it makes some sense to keep the interior cool. Not sure where you live. My advice is if you like the look go for it, but make sure you know your states laws on how dark you can go or you can get a ticket. A reputable tinting company will give you the scoop before you buy.

Welcome to the Targa club and congrats on your new car.
Great color BTW.
Agree that tint is a personal choice.
But on your car, seems like the risk is that the effect too monochrome. That'd be a shame I think.
Enjoy it well.

The Targa is one of my all time favorite Porsche cars! Atlas Grey with Black full leather sounds AWESOME!

Thx Turk. 2001 C4 with 66k miles, PSM, full leather and for the op it has platinum plus window tint. Got the dual row L&N IMS bearing installed and been having a blast driving it. I will probably keep it for at least another year then get a 997.2.
