But I bought a new e63 from him in 2010 I think it was. ('09 63)Good guy to work with. If I ever bought a new mb or P I would call him for an opinion.

sadly, my amg experience ended in lemons and lawyers

that residual looks very good compared to the m5, that's interesting. Seems to me you should be able to o better than 4.5 for ED.
I've been doing major research on ED for mb and bmw lately. 7% seems normal for mb, and mb ED is better than bmw, imho at least
I'll contact Chris tomorrow, thanks
Yes MB residual is way better than that on the M5 or Porsche's Cayenne GTS.

E63 wagon is not officially available for Euro Del, well it's not published, so not subject to 7% discount.
It's not easy to nail down a deal 6 months out but ill work it out, it'll be worth it once I'm driving over my first alpine pass!

I'm also a huge fan of wagons and this would be at the top of my list (assuming I was willing to spend the $). The CTS V Wagon would be a close second, love the looks of that wagon and performance to boot!
I agree, as a wagon guy an E63 is nirvana!

I'd skip the lane departure...if you ever change lanes when there is no traffic without using a signal it will activate
Instead I would get the blind spot monitoring which is very convenient
If its a new build I'd also get the limited slip which is a stand alone option

Yes I agree blind spot monitoring is all I really want.
Why would you get the LSD? This will be my DD, think I'll notice the delta?

for me i would get something like the e63 wagon/m5 if it was me only car. But if you have one of the best drivers cars in your garage already I'd go for something more subtle.
Anyhow the e63 wagon is a really cool car.

There is too much cut in by the traction control when coming out of a turn, sometimes major, although not nearly as much as with the old model.
If you ever step on it from a stop with the wheel turned, it activates in a major way.
I think anything with this much power should come wiith it stock.
My old M6 had it and driving the same roads, it's usefullness is obvious. Mine is a lease. If were buying the car (and I don't think it will wind up making sense to lease a wagon), I would not get it without.
