Hit a raccoon, broke my front bumper cover, advice?
I'm an animal lover so I'm sick about hitting this guy, but I got him front and center in the filler piece of the front bumper (05 non-S car). The impact broke out this filler piece and all of the slots in the cover that hold it in place. Also broke the attachment point where the cover holds to a metal piece in the inside. I assume I'll have to replace the whole cover, right? No way to repair the broken slots, right?
Also, do I have to worry about exposure of the interior of the bumper? There is a group of black/white wires wrapped in black tape that lay in the bottom of the cover.
Bright side: the bumper was chipped to hell by our Florida street sandblasting and now there is easy access to replace the horn that doesn't blow.
Thanks!

I guess taking your car to a reputable body shop will be in order. Also shouldn't you report this to your insurance company for a coverage (depending on your deductible)?
