Yes....well there is the proof Mark Harris but your wheels still stick in too far. Just Say'n....

In your case it was DIWF. Do it with friends not yourself. Just Say'n....

The car looks great, about to change out the springs on mine to the Porsche sport PASM springs since I already have PASM that will lower the car slightly under 10mm and most importantly allow for more front camber without going to class bumping camber plates. Down side they are slightly more expensive than the H&R springs

I too benefited from Gray911's excellent DYI writeup when I re-installed my Damptronics a couple of months ago. I found I didn't need to compress the stock springs to remove the old struts, both front and rear. I had to remove one of the front struts after installation to resolve the "sproing" issue when turning slowly, and the second time was much quicker. It is amazing what we can do with these cars if we do the research and take our time to avoid mistakes. Of particular value to me was Gray911's summary of torque values. Thanks again for that DYI, it saved me at least $600 in shop costs. And I love having the slightly lowered stance back.
