$40K?? wow, that's well below market. as others have suggested get a PPI and I would also strongly recommend getting a drivetrain (engine, tranny, etc) extended warranty.

Probably your service maintenance costs are going to be your highest payout.

If you like it and it seems the price is good deal, then buy it man !

Is that even available on a car with that many miles/years from a place that will not screw you when you actually try to use it?

I would jump all over that car! Get a PPI done.
80k on these cars is nothing and a vehicle that is driven regularly will have less trouble then a car that spent its live parked in a garage.
Does it have the 6-speed or tip?

I see this thread going in one of two ways. Either MBR129 will post pics of his new to him 997TT (in the correct 997TT forum) or this thread will fade away into the abyss. Any bets on which way?
