Mine had a squeak/rattle in the back seat area for about three days then it just went away. Nothing since then. I noticed the center console cover is prone to squeak. Maybe some interior cleaning products could be making some interior peaces, "squeaky clean

I guess I was fortunate but I didn't have any squeaks in my '09 ZO6. I was amazed, actually. I have an '08 Tahoe that has noises coming from everywhere, but, I would expect that more from an SUV than a Porsche.

I really like my 911, and more so the more I drive it, but the OCD in me gets rattled with rattles.

I have one recurring rattle which the pdealer can't seem to find/fix... new perf exhaust, however has resolved the issue. This coupe has 10x fewer rattles then my prior m3 cab. Gr8 car.

Rattles are a funny thing... I have had quite a few with my WRX (that I owned from new) whilst others have had pretty good luck on the same car.

OTOH, my 2004 Boxster S is a very tight and quiet car (when I first drove it, I was surprised as I was expecting more noises because it was a cab).

+1 for experimenting with different types of interior cleaners, as those can play a role.

I've been playing "find that rattle" game. It's very infrequent so when it starts I had to act quickly pushing on different console pieces to see which parts are the culprit. Now that I've learned which pieces when pushed stop the noise I've wedged folded up paper between the plastic bits. It's been quite a bit of experimentation and tweaking of the location of paper but all is quiet now. Next step is to find some black felt to replace the paper for a more permanent fix.

Well. Got the car back. Some are fixed, some were not reproducible by the techs. I'm going to go back next week to show them the one that's some where in the passenger door or where the seatbelt comes out. Oddly, it's quieter when there is a passenger, and louder when there isn't. It comes out on highways typically.
