Can a 997 be CPO'd with 20" Champion Wheels?

Can a 997 be CPO'd with 20" Champion Wheels?
I'm considering trading my OEM cast 19" Sport Design wheels on a set of 20" Champion Motorsports forged wheels. Should I keep the OEM wheels for the day I trade the car in? My car will almost certainly be a CPO when that day comes. My concern is that the 20" wheel might be a problem since it wasn't an OEM option on the 997.2.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'd keep them. On the CPO inspection form there's a note at the bottom of the page that says "No aftermarket equipment". Or, they'll lowball your trade claiming they have to replace the wheels.
I found a SSK on my CPO 2007 911S and told the dealer to remove it because of that statement and fearing warranty issues.

I kept my OEM exhaust. I even kept my OEM air filters... And I'd like to kep the wheels too, but the trade-in on them was $2200 which is pretty rich for 19" Sport Design wheels. I think there's a pretty good chance I could buy them back for less than that down the road sometime, especially if I had a couple of weeks to shop.

I always felt it would be best to have the matching wheel to the origional build sheeewindow sticker/Cert of Authenticity. No?
I was speaking of a wheel/tire package, not just the wheels. It's true a decent set of OEM 19" 997 wheels on eBay can be bought for $1000, but they will have curb rash or other substantial cosmetic issues.

I think everything has to be oem for a CPO'D certification. Just bought a 2011 Boxster Spyder and they had to replace the Interstate Battery with a Porsche Moll battery in order to certify the car

Specifically, my dealer told me cannot do CPO with aftermarket wheels (I have 19" Champion RG5's on my 997S). Also added SSK but OEM not aftermarket, and PSE - neither of those should be a problem.
If you are sure you're going to trade someday, I'd keep the wheels. Also, why are you going 20"? I once considered it but I have heard bad things about them from experts (prone to damage-tires and wheels, and no performance improvement - maybe detriment?) - its just "bling".

I agree there isn't too many legitimate "good" reasons to go with 20" wheels on the 997. I just happen to really like the what the Champion RS128s look. I think it's the best looking wheel on a black 997, personally. The biggest concern I have is that Michelin recently stopped producing the 295/25/20 size tire that these wheels take. So now it's only Yokohama and Hankook that are producing the right size tire for the 20" Champions. In my opinion, neither tire is top notch.
After it's all said and done, the one question I've asked myself many times is this... "Would a company like Champion Motorsports bother making a wheel that doesn't exceed the OEM wheel in almost every respect?"

In all likelihood my next car is going to be a 991 when it nears the end of it's run. So, that will be @ 6 years from now... but the wheels that fit a 997, won't fit a 991, anyway.

They won't? 991's come with 20's so did they change the lug pattern and/or the offset?

Keep them. You cant even get CPO with non OEM tires. Although if something goes wrong, you just put on your OEM rims and off you go. I am not sure I'd get 20's - for other reasons.
