I order one for $110 with free shipping from Tooltopia out of Lousiana. I watched a video on line and it appears that you pull a full vacuum, close a valve, disconnect the air hose, hook up the suction hose and let the system fill. I hope the kit comes with good insrtructions because this seems like a strange process. Other systems seem to be set up so you can alternate between vacuum and and suction. Should I get a 50/50 mix of antifreeze or Porsche Anti-Freeze?

just a tip. make sure that you get as much of the coolant out before vacuuming, when using the uview tool. the less coolant in the system the easier the process is. its actually like childs play when you get all the coolant out. vacuum goes up in less than a minute and your filling up your system after. all done in less than 10 minutes. but, if you leave a lot of coolant, its difficult to get good vacuum.

Well, I wasn't planning on draining my system...just installing the third radiator and adding coolant.

If you let the front end drain n you'll need to open the coolant hoses anyways to install the 3rd rad... only 3+ gals will drain out. The entire system holds 8+ gal. The airlift makes simple work of it. PM me if you need any insight.

it is less than 1 gal that leaks out if you jack up front as high as you possibly can, just put bricks behind rear wheels to keep car in place.

pre-fill 3rd radiator with distilled water before you install it and then you will not need any vacuum contraptions, just start engine, wait for it to warm up to open thermostat and as it opens you will see how water level drops down, then pour in more solution - either distilled water alone or a mix with coolant. rev it up to 6k couple of time after that, then repeat the process, then rev, then repeat, then put back front bumper if there are no leaks, take it for the drive, rev to 6500 again and drive hard, then add water a bit again and that is all it takes.

For me, i will just take the 3rd rad install as a chance to replace coolant at the same time, 4 years. I get to do some maintenance too. that u view tool is so easy to use and seems effective, and it takes so little time.

that is alot fluid. Wow!

I'll get my airlift and install the 3rd radiator this weekend. I really is a nice kit and I cannot believe it only costs $250.

I'll let you know if I need any help.

I measured the amount of expelled coolant + the amount needed to fill the 3rd rad. That way I knew how much was required to fill her back up and to verify that it was filled up properly afterwards. I was concerned about any air pockets but the airlift does a great job of filling her back up. GL and take a few photos... Carrera Mike did a great job of detailing the job if you want a good DIY guide.
