I did a quick search. The issue is real but it's not very common. The problem is that it results in full engine loss. Either way it's off topic and there are many threads about it if you would like to get yourself scared

I'm under warranty until 2013 and just turned 25k miles so I'm not going to worry about it but thanks for the heads up.

Based on your signature you have a turbo. It's not an issue with turbos (metzger motor) or GT3's.
