Take it off the road and ship them next time you're on a business trip or on vacation.

I'll probably just wait until it gets cold, which is unfortunately not that far away. But not all is lost, I'll be putting on the sharky x-pipe in a week or so.

Cool....It doesn't usually get cold enough here so we drive all year long. Get good use out of the expensive sports car. Good color on your ride Stefang

If still interested, I'll be selling my gundos. They have the larger bypass. I like the sound a lot, but the 'bark' on initial start up is too loud in the garage. Mine were done locally and look exactly like the unit pictured above that doesn't look that nice.

I hadn't planned to sell, so don't really know how much to ask. 997.1 C2. I can post pics next week if I get them switched out.

I did the FD's a month ago myself. It was a fun project and easy to do (and I'm no expert wrench.)

Spokane5150 - what did you polish your SS tips with to get them to look like chrome? Pics?

Thanks,
Kurt

For anyone interested in doing this mod its a really simple job to remove the mufflers. Loosen the two bolts on the exhaust clamp, remove the 10mm bolt on the bumper bracket behind the rear wheel, and then remove the 3 13mm nuts that hold the bracket on the muffler to the engine mount bracket. Its seriously a 5min job with an air ratchet and a 10min job with a standard ratchet.

My local Muffler shop charged me $150 to add the pipes. Best DIY upgrade you can do, and dont forget to start her up sans mufflers.......made me quiver all over, haha.
