What ever you negotiate, ask for another couple thousand less because green is just not that much of an in-demand color for any Porsche. (A friend of mine used to call them "Theft Proof Green.") You will have your hands full a few years from now when you try to pawn it off onto the next guy.

I get the feeling there's no love for green cars on this forum!

It must be a Porsche thing though, because dark green and tan is a very classic combo for most European cabrios.

Mid 30's sounds like a great deal for this car! Even with the issues you mentioned as you plan to use it as a DD. The great thing about a car like this is that it drives just as awesome as a cosmetically perfect car (assuming their is no major issues to frame or suspension from the accident) and you can drive and park it with half the worries of a garage queen owner.

In terms of resale you have little to worry as this car has taken such a huge hit already in depreciation there is little room for it to go down further. New 991 owners will lose the entire purchase price of this car in the next 3 years!
