I bought a 997.1 Targa 4S back in June. What is all the equipment I need to do my own DME?

You need Durametric and Laptop (either PC or Mac + Parallels or Boot Camp).

durametric. or take it to pep boys or something - some of those franchises will read fault codes for free and maybe if you catch them in a good mood, they might just help you look at other things too (assuming their software can read other items besides faults, that is).

 

+1 on the durametric. i don't think the autozone pepboys of the the world can read all the P-car codes
