Default Charlotte Detailer Request

Does anyone have any personal experience with detailers in the Charlotte, NC area? I am looking for someone I could trust to safely get out swirls.

Advice would be apprecaited!

Tough one....I do all of my cars myself for a reason. I'm sure there are good ones around, just have not seen anyone I trust yet.

How bad and what color/year?

She's a 2009 C2S Midnight Blue. I just picked her up 2 months ago and as a lease return the paint was in pretty ruff shape. I did all I can by hand and really brought the shine back to her but I can't get the swirls out by hand.

Coming from a sliver 986S and a white BMW I never really had too much concern over swirls since they were very hard to see. But this blue is tough, I see every single inperfection. No one else really notices them but I can't get them out of my head. If I had the abilty I would love to do this myself but I have never used an orbital and really have concern over this car being the first I try that on so I wanted to hire someone to get the inital restoration done then I can manage the condition by hand from there.

Brian @ Brians Exclusive detail does very good work. He used to be located in Loren's shop @ Import Paint and Body and has had his own location by Woodlawn and Old Pineville for a few years now.

Reviving an old thread. Any follow up to this shop? I'm moving to the Charlotte area and could use a good Detailer.

I ended up buying a Flex and handle the car's paint restoration so never looked that far into anyone in CLT.

It's a DA Orbital Polisher to remove all the swirls and detail the hell out of the car.

http://www.autogeek.net/flex-orbital-polisher.html

There are simply too many hack jobs out there who either wouldnt do a good enough job to my spec or would damage something. So i best do it myself.
