Prod Month - what does it mean? Manufacture start date for PDK 997.2

I'm assuming a prod month of 9 means September. I'm looking at a car that says 9 but the car wasn't sold until March and I didn't think 997.2 PDKs started production until October or November 2008.

I took delivery on a 2009 PDK in October of 2008. If memory serves me, production was September 2008.

Thanks, have you had any issues with the car? I worry about buying a car that was one of the first made (wonder whether they had things figured out)

Just to answer my own question. I got the PPI back and the car was produced 10.08 so prod month IS accurate within a month.

30,000 miles and no problems what so ever. I did have the HPFP replaced on their service campaign, but outside of that, which I didn't consider a problem, everything has been great.
