For the collective ....
I'm really new to the 997 world so pls bear with me...
I live on a steep slope with a traffic light at the top of the very steep pitch...
If i miss the light and i have to stop and wait for the green i take my foot off the break and hit the gas the 997 does not engage and kinda either stalls or goes backward and then engages....
I have been living on this mountain for a long time. I have had a Honda s2000, Jeep 2005 , a honda crv 2009 and a mercedes 2009 and none of then handled this task with so much difficulty...
Does my 997 have a tranny issue or is that a pdk thing i need to adjust too?
Any help would be of great help....
For any Montrealers who know the city i live on Clarke and the bouleveard so you prob know how steep this hill is...
Thanks for your imput
Cheers
Howard

The 997.2 has a "hill assist" feature. On a slope, it will engage the brakes for approximately 2 seconds when you remove your foot from the brake. You will need to give it a little more gas than usual to overcome the brake resistance.
