Ditto! But I have an 07 C4S...
Slightly off topic but would perferated leather seats be of any value without this ventilated option?
My wife's new Buick has seats that are perforated but not ventilated. They're better than plain leather but not as comfortable as the ventilated seats.
love the ventilated seats on my 2009 C4S still not sure which is the best way to clean and preserve them. (don't want to plug up the holes and I assume that the perforations will allow the seats to dry out) Have followed other discussions about treating seats but nothing specific for ventilated.
It is a great option... so worth it.. though it. It is just a fan pulling air through the seat, so it helps our backside and back perspiration system work to cool those skin surfaces, but the effect is so much better than without.
Can you benefit from the ventilated seats without using the a/c compressor? Or do they require the a/c be turned on? I love the idea of windows down and ventilated seats, but if you get the drag from the a/c, what is the point?

They *should* work independent of the A/C since they're not cooled seats (which would use the AC to cool) rather they are ventilated (a fan pulls air away from your backside). Much in the same way that the heated seats are independent from HVAC temp setting.
At first i had my doubts but now i love them. Its especially for a Cab due to the heat soak. However I've always wondered, is a there a filter somewhere? I mean its sucking the air, presumably stinky right?
No like ducky said, it has fans in the seats that pull the air away from you, it doesn't use AC at all, so you can drive with the AC off and the seat ventilation on!
