I'm thinking of selling my 2005 c2. The car is nearly perfect and runs like a dream. The only drawback is that it has had a number of early short ownership stints. (I'm #6). How much do you think this will impact the sale price? I was thinking of asking $41,000. Car has 40,000 mi.

Are you the 6th physical owner? Were some of the initial ownership transfers done as a result of title transfers or actually owners. What are the options? Does it have the LN IMS fix? More pics of the car would help us to estimate a value as well.

You hadn't had the car that long. What were you thinking of replacing it with?

My limited experience: A car with numerous owners does raise questions for a potential buyer. You may have to take some extra effort to prove the car is fully sorted out.... and you should be fine!

I'm the fourth owner of my car and it definitely needed a little TLC in terms of buttoning up some maintenance items. If you've properly documented maintenance of the vehicle it shouldn't be an issue. Then again Porsche buyers can be picky, I know I was.

There really aren't any issues. the car was cpo'd in November. If I could keep it I would but the ressesion has finaly caught up with my company. Plus insurance has gone through the roof with recent tickets.

Turns out there were several title transfers early on without actual ownership. Who ever owned it before me was meticulous.
